Executive Director Search is Launched

 Jackson-Feild Homes, founded in 1855, a Virginia based charitable, non-profit organization, committed to the needs of at-risk adolescent females, is searching for an Executive Director.

 Jackson-Feild Homes is a 70-bed residential treatment program and private school for adolescent females between the ages of 13 and 21 licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services and the Virginia Department of Education.  Facilities are located in Jarratt and Richmond, Virginia.  Jackson-Feild’s residential services include:  group home, maternity & infants, independent living, and community transition programs.  The Jarratt campus also provides a fully accredited on-site secondary school.

 The Executive Director reports to the Board of Trustees and works in partnership with the Board and the staff to provide vision, leadership, and direction for the organization in fulfillment of its mission and organizational strategy.  The Executive Director is responsible for the management of programs, marketing, development, public relations, financial management, quality control, and human resources.  All candidates must possess:  leadership including the ability to communicate the mission and vision of Jackson-Feild and demonstrated ability to work both at the strategic and tactical levels; strong management and administrative skills including people, processes, project management, new business development, and financial management; demonstrated ability to lead fundraising efforts including marketing, networking, and the acquisition of grants.  A bachelors degree in  a related field and 7 years management experience, Or a masters degree (preferred) in a related field with 5 years management experience, in an adolescent residential treatment facility or similar organization.
