Scholarships

Less than two years ago we received a call from a woman who had a niece who needed our help.  She learned about us through the Episcopal Diocese.  After working with the mother and extended family, we learned that the mother of this 15 year old girl did not want to have to lose her child’s custody to get her help.  Relatives of the family pitched in to help fund one third of the cost of her care and through Jackson-Field Homes’ Scholarship Fund we were able to scholarship two-thirds of her cost of care.  This young lady remained with us for a year and did very well.  Her family participated fully in our program.  Now, eight months after her release, she is back home with her family and doing well.
