If your company has a matching gift program, please call the gift administrator of your Matching Gift Program or your Human Resources Department and request a form to complete. Through effective gift planning many Jackson-Feild Homes’ donors are able to balance their personal estate goals with their charitable interests while realizing important tax benefits. A variety of plans and instruments are available ranging from a simple bequest to a more complex trust agreement.
Planned giving or estate planning are unique and suited to the individual needs and desires of the donors. No two estate plans or planned giving documents are alike. Each reflects to donors interests, desires, capabilities and priorities of the person for whom it is prepared. A good estate plan will result in the best management of your assets now and later, for your loved ones. It can include many aspects including retirement planning, life insurance, trust instruments, and others. In virtually every instance, an estate plan should include a will.
Donors who have chosen to include Jackson-Feild Homes in their estate plans can become recognized as a member of our 1855 Legacy Society. Not only does this society recognize the year Jackson-Feild was founded, but it also recognizes special donors who serve as an inspiration for others to follow their lead. We suggest you contact your financial advisor for specific ways that are specific to your circumstances. Any gifts of stock may be transferred to our brokerage account:

Program and Administration
Volunteer needs prevail in our administrative and program offices. Some are at peak
times during the year and others are on-going. For instance, during the Christmas
holidays we need help in our development office and with our Sponsor-a-Child for
Christmas program. If you have skills and interest in these areas, please contact us.
Some individuals and groups may be unable to come to our sites to volunteer but would
like to help. There are a number of ways to lend a helping hand. You can make items for
use in our cottages or by our girls. Others might have a fund raiser to benefit JFH.
If you are interested in volunteering please contact our Development Office at KDgwNCkgMzU0LTY5Mjk=== or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Jackson-Feild Homes is founded on Christian principles and, while not denominationally-based, we have a storied and lengthy grounding with the Episcopal Church. There are many opportunities for churches and church groups to become involved with JFH and our boys and girls.
Church groups can assist with maintenance and campus improvement projects, landscaping and plantings, adopt-a-child, sponsoring a child at Christmas, holiday and birthday celebrations, and others. These efforts improve the daily quality of life for our girls and demonstrate in a very tangible way that others care.

Most people are removed and isolated from the problems of dysfunctional and disadvantaged families in our communities. Jackson-Feild deals with these issues daily. We seek to provide real solutions for children whose lives and futures are at-risk due to serious mental health, behavioral and educational issues. These boys and girls are in need of the intensive therapeutic and education services we provide.
The funds we raise from our Annual Fund Drive mean that a child can count on receiving these services in a nurturing, caring and safe environment. Through our programs, children can begin to heal from the trauma in their lives, learn the coping skills necessary to maintain a healthy life and return to their communities equipped to manage their lives and achieve success for their future.
We depend upon contributions to our annual fund to meet the needs of the boys and girls in our care. Your donations help cover the daily cost of care. Every gift of every size can mean one more child has a chance for a better life and future… chances they would not otherwise have.
Together, we can and do make a difference in this world … one child at a time.
The Endowment Fund has grown as individuals have made direct and planned gifts designated to the fund. Estate gifts such as bequests, trusts, gift annuities, life insurance or other planned gifts may be directed to the Endowment to support children and families in perpetuity.
The Foundation can help donors understand income and tax advantages of a well- prepared estate plan that includes charitable planned gifts. The prime motive for our donors who contribute to the Foundation has always been a desire to further the Home’s mission and to serve troubled children. When considering a planned gift, our Foundation’s staff can help you plan your gift in order to maximize your benefit in terms of taxes and life income.
Planned gifts help both Jackson-Feild’s donors and our children. Helping one another is really what we are all about.
