Volunteers can help Jackson-Feild Homes address critical needs and improve the quality of life for our children. Volunteers have skills and abilities which can help address specific needs. Volunteers who have contact with children must undergo background checks and training required by state licensing regulations.
Program and Administration
Volunteer needs prevail in our administrative and program offices. Some are at peak
times during the year and others are on-going. For instance, during the Christmas
holidays we need help in our development office and with our Sponsor-a-Child for
Christmas program. If you have skills and interest in these areas, please contact us.
Some individuals and groups may be unable to come to our sites to volunteer but would
like to help. There are a number of ways to lend a helping hand. You can make items for
use in our cottages or by our girls. Others might have a fund raiser to benefit JFH.
If you are interested in volunteering please contact our Development Office at KDgwNCkgMzU0LTY5Mjk=== or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Jackson-Feild Homes is founded on Christian principles and, while not denominationally-based, we have a storied and lengthy grounding with the Episcopal Church. There are many opportunities for churches and church groups to become involved with JFH and our boys and girls.
Church groups can assist with maintenance and campus improvement projects, landscaping and plantings, adopt-a-child, sponsoring a child at Christmas, holiday and birthday celebrations, and others. These efforts improve the daily quality of life for our girls and demonstrate in a very tangible way that others care.
